Hi Celia, it’s just a premixed soil from Lowes or Walmart. I found it where they keep the smaller bags of potting mix inside.

It is! It’s a tropical plant called a Nerve plant or Fittonia albivenis (which I had to Google because the tag from Lowe’s just said “Tropical plant”). I have an older one that is really hardy, but the ones from this year have been a little finicky and want water more often. I think they’ll be better once the roots are established, but just be sure to keep an eye on them the first few weeks after you plant. I’ve thought I killed them twice, but a little water and they’re good as new.
