All women in the congregation are members of CWELCA (Calvary Women of the ELCA). As an organization, CWELCA oversees luncheons served to visiting groups (such as Headwaters gatherings and funerals), hosts fellowship events for women and the parish at large, and serves coffee hour every other month. It is a liaison for synod and national women’s events. It hosts the Ladies’ Bible Study and supports many causes financially. (A report on what CWELCA has done this past year can be found in the Annual Report.) Meetings are kept to a minimum and are held with liaisons from Altar Guild and Dorcas.
